Above level filling: suitable for filling situations where liquid materials are non-foaming, non-volatile, low in viscosity and prone to splashing. The filling head is generally inserted into the drum bunghole about 50~100mm, as shown in Figure 1. (Liquid surface filling is more appropriately called below bunghole filling)
Below-level filling: for filling situations of some liquid materials that are prone to foaming, volatile and toxic. The filling head is generally inserted about 100mm from the bottom of the drum to start filling, as shown in Figure 2. Generally, during the filling process, the bottom of the filling head is always on the liquid surface and rises as the liquid level rises.
Outside the drum filling: suitable for filling materials with high viscosity and difficult to splash, as shown in Figure 3. Common materials are paints.
